Transport Economists’ Group

Formed in 1973 the Group provides a forum for people involved in transport economics to meet regularly and discuss matters of mutual interest. Membership is open to both economists working in transport and all others whose work is connected with transport economics. The aim of the Group is to improve the quality of transport management, planning and decision making by promoting lectures, discussions and publications related to the economics of transport and of the environment within which the industry functions.

Next meeting : In order to meet Government Guidelines on maintaining physical distancing and the criteria set by our regular hosts at Arup, meetings of the Transport Economists’ Group are currently suspended.

At present we are not able to give any definitive information as to when we might be able to resume holding our regular meetings. However, we are currently looking to reschedule our spring meetings for this autumn.

Please watch this space for further information.

Our meetings are normally held at Arup Head Office, 13 Fitzroy Street, London W1T 4BQ. (See Map)

All with an interest in the subject are welcome to attend our regular TEG meetings, whether a member or not. Non-members are asked to make a small contribution to expenses. Please visit the MEETINGS page to add you name to the list of those attending. This helps the Reception Desk at Arup to issue you with a Visitor’s Pass when you arrive.

We aim to begin the speaker’s presentation promptly at 18:00. Refreshments are available in the Meeting Room, which is open from 17:30.
